CTC Students Who Previously Attended CTC Outside of Texas

If you attended CTC at one of its locations outside Texas, you are now subject to certain in-state requirements. You are required to:

  1. Change your address in Eagle Self-Service under the profile section.
  2. If it has been over a year, complete a new online CTC Application for Admission if you are relocating during the semester, or its been less than a year, complete the Core Residency Questionnaire eform.
  3. Sign the Oath of Residency and submit substantiating documentation. Nonresident active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces assigned to duty in Texas and their family members are entitled to pay resident tuition rates. Refer to the Residency section of this Catalog for additional information.
  4. Take the TSI Assessment 2.0 unless TSI exempt or waived. To determine if you are TSI exempt or waived review the Testing and Placement section of the Catalog for additional information and discuss with an academic advisor if required.
  5. Verify that your high school transcript, GED scores or high school equivalency certificate and/or official transcripts from accredited colleges or universities previously attended are on file. If not, request that official transcripts from each school be sent to CTC.
  6. Consult with an academic advisor.
  7. Make arrangements to attend the new student orientation.
