MATH-1314 College Algebra

A study of relations and functions, polynomial functions and equations of degree higher than two, exponential and logarithmic functions and equations, matrices, and determinants, sequences and series, the binomial theorem, and mathematical induction. This course meets the college core requirement and is recommended for students planning to transfer to bachelor's degree programs.

Prerequisite

Appropriate placement score or TSI exemption or completion of the appropriate level of Developmental Studies course or concurrent enrollment in DSMA-0493 /NCBO Intermediate Algebra.
