Paramedicine
The Emergency Medical Technology program is offered train applicants at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic (Certificate or Associate of Applied Science) levels. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the National Registry exam to become certified at the specified level, through the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) and the Texas Department of State Health Services. An Associate of Applied Science-Paramedic degree permits the student to apply for State Licensure through the Texas Department of State Health Services. Central Texas College offers the certificate of completion and an Associate Degree in Applied Science-Paramedic.
