DSMA-0293 NCBO Intermediate Algebra Topics

A study of relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational), with a special emphasis on linear and quadratic expressions and equations. The NCBO supports students developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Depending on the section of DSMA-0293, students must be enrolled in either College Algebra Calculus Path (MATH-1414) or Mathematics for Business and Social Science (MATH-1324) concurrently. Prerequisite

TSIA2 Diagnostic Score of 5 or successful completion of DSMA-0100 / DSMA-0300.
