Transfer of Foreign Credits

Credits earned from foreign schools may be accepted in transfer. Factors considered are whether the institution is recognized by the country’s ministry of education, courses are similar to those offered at CTC, and applicable to a program of study at CTC. The process for evaluating the credits are similar to the process used for credit earned from a recognized non-regionally accredited institution. Students are required to provide an official academic transcript from the institution, a formal English translation of the transcript, a Credential Evaluation from the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or World Education Services (WES), and official syllabi or catalogs that describe the courses taken. CTC reserves the right to limit the number of credits accepted in transfer.

CTC does not participate in study abroad programs, student exchange agreements, or have similar arrangements with institutions or organizations representing foreign institutions inside or outside the United States.
