Appeal Procedures Involving Professional Code Violations

  • The student may appeal the decision of the Department Chair by submitting a written request to the Dean of Instruction.
  • The Dean will decide whether to reconsider the charges and/or action taken and will notify the student in writing. At the Dean’s sole discretion, he/she may meet with the student or decide based on the records. The Dean has full authority to uphold, set aside, increase, or reduce the action of the Department Chair. The decision of the Dean is final.
